Benefit supper
PARIS — A benefit turkey supper will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the South Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue. The menu will include turkey, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, squash, peas, carrots, cranberry sauce, rolls, pies and beverage.
Proceeds will help Norma and Sheldon Campbell, who lost their home due to fire. The cost is $7 and $5 for children.
Socrates Cafe
WATERFORD — A Socrates Café gathering will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the Waterford Library. The group offers a forum to discuss current topics and ideas.
The topic will be “Will Technology Save Us? Do Us In?” and the moderator will be Earl Morse. For more information, call 583-6957 or email the library at wla@waterford.lib.me.us.
Easter egg hunt
HARRISON — A Giant Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 1 to 9 will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Crystal Lake Park. Residents are asked to arrive no later than 9:45 and park on Mill Street behind the park and enter through the back gate.
Children may bring their Easter basket or bags will be provided. The Easter Bunny will be present for photos. There will be special eggs with gold coins. The event is being sponsored by Harrison Recreation.
Seniors social
HARRISON — A Senior Social Luncheon and Games will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the United Parish Congregational Church. If only interested in the meal, people are asked to arrive at noon.
There will be word games and bingo with prizes. The meal will feature shepherd’s pie, biscuit and homemade ice cream.
The Harrison Lion’s Club is sponsoring the social hosted by Harrison Recreation.

World’s Fair
WATERFORD — The Waterford World’s Fair Association will meet on Sunday, April 1, one week earlier than usual because of Easter. The 2 p.m. meeting will be held at the Waterford Town Office, Valley Road. All members and anyone interested in the fair are welcome.
The May meeting will also be one week earlier because of Mother’s Day. That meeting will be held at the fairgrounds and will be a clean-up day, which will start at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m.
