LEWISTON — On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Central Maine Human Resources Association will hold its monthly membership meeting. Rosemary Pye from the National Labor Relations Board will be presenting “News from the NLRB.” The meeting is from 8 to 9:45 a.m. at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center.

Pye has been at the National Labor Relations Board since 1974, serving as chief counsel to board member Marshall Babson in Washington, D.C. from 1986 to 1988, and as regional director of the board’s Boston office since 1989. As regional director, she is responsible for the enforcement of the nation’s primary labor law covering private sector employees in New England, except Connecticut.

Registration at the event will start at 8 a.m. The fee is $15 per person for members and $20 for nonmembers. Payment, cash or check, is accepted at registration table at time of meeting.
