LEWISTON — A Lewiston woman was charged early Sunday morning in connection with the stabbing of her boyfriend in their apartment.

Liberty West, 24, of 232 East Ave. No. 2, was charged with domestic violence aggravated assault shortly after midnight Sunday.

Lewiston police Sgt. David St. Pierre said West stabbed her live-in boyfriend in the back with a knife during a domestic violence incident. The man, whose name was not released, was treated and released at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
