WATERFORD — There will be a Public Supper at the North Waterford Congregational Church on Tuesday, Aug 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. Served during the supper will be baked beans, American chop suey, cole slaw, casseroles, salads, and pies for dessert. The charge is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. North Waterford Congregational Church is located just off Rte. 35 at 15 Irving Green Road in Waterford.

NORWAY — Mark your calendars for our huge multi-family Annual Yard Sale at the Norway Unitarian Universalist Church on August 26 at 479 Main Street from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. We’ll have an eclectic selection of antiques and collectibles, household items, furniture, linens, kitchenware, toys, tools, RV accessories, and more, including local honey and maple syrup! PARIS — The Paris Public Library is holding a bag sale for books on Saturday, August 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Deering Memorial Community Center. The cost will be $2 to fill each standard grocery-sized bag with books. The sale will be offering over 70 boxes of books left over from the library’s last two years of book sales. All the items are in good condition and have been offered for sale just once before.
