The Yellow Corp. (Yellow Freight Lines) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This kills the jobs of 30,000 employees nationwide and is just another bad news story that bears remembering. It appears that this same company had been given a $700 million government bailout early in the COVID pandemic.

I don’t question that such a large company has failed, but rather that our federal government is being run so poorly that it propped up a failing company with my hard earned tax dollars. It is so tiring to see the wasteful spending that goes on in Washington year after year while our representatives, who supposedly protect us taxpayers, seemingly all grow richer while in office.

Doesn’t anyone ever raise an eyebrow over that?

Does the American taxpayer ever say enough? And how about creating legislation that lowers our national debt?

Now even our president is mulling over how to increase taxes and removing other tax loopholes. Yet we allow more and more illegal immigrants to poor though the borders and give them vast amounts of money for shelter and other amenities.

Why are we allowing this to happen?
