We are against the proposed High Peaks Refuge. We don’t need more U.S. government telling us what we can/can’t do with our state.

They will tell you “traditional use” will be continued.

Not so.

Just look at all the “can’t do anymore” at the Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge. Trapping was the first to go, we can use steel shot only for small game and, how about this, they closed a large area to the picking of blueberries.

The field is next to the road, so accessible to old folks, too.

More tax money is lost to townships, plantations and the state. Speak to the people who live in areas where land has been purchased. Privileges and access lost to all of us, both in Maine and New Hampshire.
