I don’t sleep in Auburn, but I’ve worked and played here for years. And if anyone doubts the positive effect Mayor Jason Levesque has had on this city, their eyes are closed.

People should look at the new Target and Olive Garden. Businesses are expanding and getting national attention, and new housing is going up everywhere. Or go and see all the local breweries and food trucks at the huge and successful events being held at Festival Plaza.

And more importantly, look at the smiling and happy people from Auburn and throughout the Twin Cities who are enjoying a new and prosperous Auburn.

I haven’t seen whether Jason Levesque will run for mayor this November, but I and many others believe that he should.

We need him in that chair as we still have a ways to go, and I can’t think of anyone else who could get it done.
