Second Congregational Church, UCC in Norway is accepting applications for booths for its Maker’s Fair (a craft fair) on Saturday, Aug. 26. The fair will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the church parking lot located on the corner of Paris and Main streets.

There will be multiple vendors with a variety of craft items, according to a news release from Kate Wood with the church.

Church members will sell fair food items, lemonade fudge. There also will be a bake sale booth and more to raise funds for updating the church’s sound system.

The Second Congregational Thrift Shoppe will be open during the fair.

This will be the first Maker’s Fair and the goal is to create an annual event that will be held on the fourth Saturday of August each year. For many years the church hosted a huge yard sale in August which drew people from all over. Organizers hope to make this event just as successful.

Applications for booths will be accepted until Wednesday, Aug. 18. The fee is $25 per space. To request an application for a space at this event, contact Pam Davison at pdavison1954@gmail.com or 207-674-2589.
