The Bell Hill Meetinghouse Association honored retiring association President Caroline “Callie” Zilinsky July 30 at its annual program.
Zilinsky, who served as president of the group for nearly 20 years, racked up a long list of accomplishments during her tenure.
With her thoughtful and visionary leadership style, she guided the association through numerous major restoration projects at the two National Register-listed properties owned by the association, increased membership and member giving, launched a biannual newsletter, established a partnership with the Otisfield Central School, and expanded the yearly concert and events programming at the meetinghouse, according to a news release from Polly Bartow, incoming association president.
Zilinsky was presented with a watercolor portrait of the meetinghouse in appreciation for her years of leadership.
