I wonder why men are allowed to tell women what to do with their own bodies. If men could get pregnant, abortion would definitely be legal.
How many men get women pregnant and fail to provide for their baby? Unfortunately, many fathers just disappear, leaving a working mother making minimum wage and unable to afford childcare with a baby she can’t support.
How many victims of rape become pregnant? It’s torture to force a victim to give birth to her attacker’s baby. Some married women get abortions because they already have children they can’t afford.
If abortion is illegal, what’s going to happen to abandoned babies? It’s already hard to find good foster parents.
MAGAs and evangelicals want to outlaw abortion so they can keep women under their control. One can tell that they really don’t care about babies, because they don’t want to spend any tax money on their health care or childcare.
Abortion is legal in Puerto Rico, France, Turkey, Germany, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hungary, Nepal, Slovenia, Lithuania, Canada and many other countries. The U.S. should be one of them.
No one is forcing any woman to have an abortion. Anti-abortionists need to stop harassing the majority of people who support legal abortion.
Roe v. Wade was passed in 1973, and it should have been left alone.
