Ella-Rae Cramer, left, and Alexis Giguere spend time together Monday in the back of a soccer goal at Chestnut Street Park in Auburn. The fifth grade classmates at Washburn Elementary School are on spring break. “We are going to spend the whole week together, have our nails done, go to the ropes course in Portland and celebrate clown nose awareness month,” Cramer said. Giguere said they received red clown noses after donating to the Ronald McDonald House Charity at a local restaurant. So, the two “best friends” created their own awareness month of clown noses.
