HealthReach is scheduled in April to offer free public COVID-19 booster shots available at locations across central and western Maine.

Its Western Maine Family Health Center clinic at 16 Depot St., Suite 300, in Livermore Falls will open to patients and the public from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, April 1, 22 and 29.

No appointment is necessary during these time periods, according to a news release from Kyra Zabel at HealthReach Community Health Centers’ Central Office in Waterville.

Bivalent Moderna boosters will be offered through these clinics. These boosters are available to any fully vaccinated individuals 6 and older, regardless of their primary vaccination series — Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and other brands.

These shots will be offered on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis for anyone eligible to receive their updated shot.

Booster clinics will be held across 10 HealthReach locations in Maine. Locations and addresses can be found online at healthreach.org.
