Senior Meghan Graff became the first Bates College women’s basketball player to receive D3hoops.com All-American honors in consecutive seasons Monday.
Graff was named fifth-team All-American by the website, and she finishes her career with three All-America honors — two from D3hoops.com and one from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. That matches 2008 Bates graduate Meg Coffin for the most All-America honors in program history.
Graff, who averaged 20.6 points, also was named WBCA All-America honorable mention, D3hoops.com first-team All-Region, first-team All-NESCAC, and the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year.
She finishes her career as Bates’ all-time leading scorer, and her 495 points this season rank second in program history.
