OXFORD — Anthony Aldrich, 51, of Norway, has been charged with Burglary, Stalking, Theft, and Possession of Schedule “W” drug and is being held on a $1,000 cash bail at the Oxford County Jail, according to Oxford Police Department.
OPD received reports on Feb. 16 of a stalking/burglary incident that occurred over Superbowl weekend, according to OPD Detective Brandon J. Correia. “It was reported that … Aldrich has followed a young female to a Superbowl party … in Oxford. Upon arrival, [he] followed the female onto the porch and then unlawfully entered the residence behind her. He was then confronted by the homeowner and subsequently left the scene in a red 2005 Honda CR-V bearing Maine 6589ZL.”
The next day the same female passed Aldrich very close to her cheer leading practice. A warrant was issued, according to Correia and Aldrich was arrested in Oxford without incident.
