BATES 84, UMF 50: Morgan Kennedy and Meghan Graff combined for 43 points to lead the Bobcats (8-7, 1-2) past the Beavers (2-13, 1-5) in Farmington.
Kennedy led the way with 22 points, while Graff finished with 21. Graff ranks third place on Bates’ all-time scoring list with 1,463 points — only seven points behind No. 2 Val Beckwith (1,470) and 15 behind current program record holder Emily King (1,478). Graff, a senior, is averaging 20.9 points per game and has only scored less than15 points twice this season, so it’s likely she’ll set the new program record Saturday at Tufts. The Bobcats then play Monday against the University of Southern Maine in Gorham.
Elsa Daulerio contributed 12 points for Bates.
Grace Dwyer led UMF with 17 points. She was 3 of 3 from 3-point range. Jacqui Hamilton and Jalyn Stacey each scored eight points.
