Caroline Coffin opens a demo class Thursday with the help of her daughter, Laura, 5, for Androscoggin Music Together at the United Methodist Church on Park Avenue in Auburn as Kari Ellis and her son, Ethan, 3, listen on the left. Coffin said that children in the birth to 5 years old age range can sing in tune and keep a steady beat. The class covers 24 songs with a variety of tonalities and rhythms. “It’s a musical buffet,” Coffin said. Parents interested in learning more about the classes can attend a free demo class Wednesday, Jan. 18, or reach out to Coffin through her Facebook page, Androscoggin Music Together.
