The former track and playing fields at Edward Little High School in Auburn are transformed Wednesday morning into a multisport turf field for next season. The practice fields, top left and middle left, will be grassed and take an another year. The school, center, will be torn down when the new school, right, is completed next year. Athletic Director Todd Sampson said the new grandstand for the sports complex will seat 1,460 with bleachers for another 400 on the visitors’ side.
