Two years ago I asked Rep. Jon Connor what his plans were for education. He told me then that one of his priorities was to ensure the state pays its fair share toward education costs.

I agreed with him, and that’s why I’m thankful the Maine Legislature passed a budget that increased state funding to our Lewiston schools, and I’m especially thankful that Jon kept his word.

I hope people vote Jon Connor on Nov. 8 for re-election to the Maine House District 96 (formerly House District 58).
