Children create art Tuesday on the lawn at Broadview Acres in Auburn. Art Van founder Jamie Silvestri, far left, said the the van has been pulling into neighborhoods for 19 years to provide children with limited resources the ability to make art. Silvestri and her small staff are on the road five days per week visiting neighborhoods in Brunswick, Bath, Lewiston, Auburn and Rumford. “We are very small but a powerful group,” she said of the mobile art therapy organization.
