BETHEL — Gamut Goods of Bethel has been selected as New Ventures Maine’s Spring 2022 western Maine marketing mini-grant recipient. The business was selected from a strong group of small business applicants from Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties.
Gamut Goods was founded in 2021 by Sammy Sirois and Sydney Hagenbuch, who come from culinary backgrounds including restaurant kitchens, small and large bakeries, coffee roasting and farming. Gamut Goods offers naturally leavened sourdough breads and cookies, and has a mission of sourcing organic and local ingredients. It sells its products online through community supported agriculture and at regional specialty food stores.
The New Ventures Maine marketing mini-grant will be used for a targeted campaign to elevate Gamut Goods to a regionally known brand as it expands its retail and wholesale bakery. The marketing project includes brand signs for mobile retail space and displays for wholesale sales, partial support of a graphic designer, local advertising, and website updates.
New Ventures Maine’s marketing mini-grant program aims to strengthen access to markets for micro businesses. The program supports the development of marketing tools, materials and activities. Norway Savings Bank helps support this program.
