Members of the GOP are running around with their hair on fire, blaming the high price of gas and oil, the war in Ukraine, the wild fires and the drought on the present administration. Really?
The gas and oil companies are padding the pockets of their puppet politicians instead of putting their billion-dollar profits back into the company to lower the prices. It doesn’t matter that people are struggling; it’s all about power. The plan is to hold out until they regain power.
During the last administration the country was run by American oligarchs, just like in Russia. Donald Trump surrounded himself with the ultra-rich who easily manipulated him with flattery and the promise of great wealth to change laws to benefit only themselves. I wonder if this sounds familiar. We should hunt down their yachts and expensive homes, sell them and give back to the taxpayers.
People should ask themselves, as they trot off to the voting booth, if they want to go back to that horror show. Inflation always comes in waves; if it weren’t for the downs we wouldn’t appreciate the ups, so we should ride it out; it will get better.
The polls do not tell the whole story. If negative numbers are wanted, the GOP polls a small section of the opposing team.
