BRIDGTON — Nick Todisco was born and raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont. His parents immigrated to the US from Luogosano, Italy, in the 1950s and lived in Boston before settling in the beautiful city of Burlington. He married his high school sweetheart, and they have two wonderful daughters.
The family loves to travel and adventure outdoors. In 2019 they moved from Vermont to Bridgton, with their two, pups Moose and Barn. Nick is an animal lover and enjoys being out in nature, from which he gets much of his creative inspiration.
Nick says his passion for woodworking began in 7th grade when he was first introduced to it in school. He continued woodworking through high school in a Building Trades program. He was selected to work with a local carpenter during this time, and he is grateful to have learned through these hands-on experiences. Since then, he has been a hobbyist woodworker in his spare time.
He enjoys taking a raw piece of wood and envisioning what can be created based on the type of wood with all of its unique patterns and characteristics. Nick enjoys making practical pieces, such as cutting boards and serving platters, and makes them unique with wood-burned designs. He said he has always wanted to turn this hobby into something more and is excited to be on that journey!
