DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for obituaries of the soldiers from Sabattus who were killed in action in World War II. I have five names: Alphee V. Caron, Lewis V. Flanders, Emilien Fontaine, Adrien Roux and Clarence Elmon Tyler. The Sabattus American Legion is doing a project for Memorial Day, and it would be nice if we could find the obituaries of these brave young men who gave their all. — Joan, Sabattus

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am writing to find out if anyone may have a need for several pieces of health care aids. I have a new overbed table, a shower chair, crutches, an elevated toilet seat, and a tray for washing someone’s hair if they are in a wheelchair. It allows the water to drain into the sink. I will donate these items to someone in need of them. Contact me at 207-240-2460. — No name, no town

ANSWER: Thank you for this generous offer. As anyone who takes care of elderly relatives or people with disabilities knows, these aids can make a big difference in quality of life.
