DEAR SUN SPOTS: Your response to my recent inquiry regarding the new location of The Jasmine Cafe, which was in the TJ Maxx Plaza on Center Street in Auburn until recently, appeared in the column on Monday, May 16. I ventured out Wednesday, May 18,to the location indicated, only to find that this was their location years before moving to the TJ Maxx Plaza. I investigated further and did locate their current location. Readers, Jasmine Cafe is operating from its food truck and is known as Noodle Street Food Truck, 861 Auburn Road (Center Street), across from Northeastern Firearms in Turner. Hours are from noon-8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Call 212-4683 to place orders for pickup or visit them to order in person. Som and her husband wanted readers to know that they accept cash only at the present time. She also stated that sushi will be available beginning in mid June. — No Name, Auburn.
ANSWER: Thank you for investigating this. As we reported in the May 16 column, the phone number listed on the Jasmine Cafe website was out of order, so we used what information we could find on Jasmine’s Facebook page. Asian fusion foodies will appreciate this correction.
