As a veteran, I am supporting Eric Brakey for Maine Senate.
Why? I swore an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. To this day, I take that seriously.
Every elected politician swears that same oath, but most act like it is a mere formality. Once they get into office, they forget our Bill of Rights. They casually trample our freedoms and confiscate our paychecks, putting partisan special interests above the Maine people. Our founders would be ashamed.
Thankfully, Eric Brakey is different. It is rare to see an elected official who takes his own oath as seriously as I do. That’s why he was ranked one of the most independent senators in Maine. Brakey puts the Constitution first.
It’s not a hard choice for me: Eric Brakey for New Gloucester, Poland, Durham and Auburn.
