Auburn took a big step backward March 28 by the City Council approving Mayor Jason Levesque’s proposal to rezone over 1,600 acres, despite little support shown or heard from common citizens.

During debate at an earlier meeting the Sun Journal reported that Levesque stated that an amendment that would require decision makers to reveal how the zoning would affect them personally would be precedent setting, as if rezoning 1,600 acres isn’t.

Gosh, how I wish that Holly Lasagna had actually run for mayor.
