Marie Michaud of Lewiston, far left, comforts an unidentified young boy that was in the vehicle at right, driven by his mother, after it was involved in a collision at the corner of Union and Oak Streets in Lewiston Wednesday afternoon. Michaud lives in the area and was on her way back from running errands when she came upon the accident. When she noticed the boy standing alone while his mother was talking to police, she offered a warm hug to the youngster while fire and ambulance personel attended to the driver of the van they collided with.
