The Friends of the Rumford Public Library ongoing book sale has added used copies of “The Great Courses.”
The cost of each course is $5, which will be paid to the Friends of the Rumford Public Library in memory of Reinhold Desjardins, a longtime library patron.
The family of the patron donated his large collection of The Great Courses to the library. Many courses will go into the library collection, most of the courses are in lightly used condition. Course topics include sciences, art and humanities.
The book sale also includes books, DVDs, Blu-Ray videos, CDs and magazines. The cost for these items is by donation.
The Friends of the Rumford Public Library is a nonprofit that fundraises to support library functions and items that are not included in the library’s annual operating budget from the municipality.
The book sale is running at 56 Rumford Ave. whenever the library is open.
