The International Association of Approved Basketball Officials IABBO 21 will be holding rules instruction for prospective basketball officials. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to take the test and work in the 2021-2022 season. If you have played the game, and would enjoy being involved, and would like to make extra money, this may be a good outlet for you.
The course is taken online and supplemented with these optional in-class sessions.

Oct.13, 20, 27 and Nov. 3 at 6 p.m.
Bath/Brunswick Area: Mt Ararat High School Class; Instructors: Bill D’Amico, Byron Watson; Lewiston/Auburn Area: Edward Little High School; Instructors – Jeff Benson, Mark Pare; York County: York High School; Instructors: Dick Draper, Dave Gallagher; Portland Area: Gorham Municipal Center, Instructors: Mike Woods, Rob Neill.
A background check will be required before officiating games for schools and some locations may require wearing masks in class.
