RAYMOND — Loon Echo Land Trust is scheduled to hold its 34th annual meeting from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Camp Wohelo, at 25 Fire Lane 24.
Loon Echo Land Trust donors and interested individuals from around the Lake Region are invited to attend.
The event will begin with drinks and appetizers and an opportunity to socialize with fellow land trust supporters. Updates from the land trust and a presentation by Paul Hunt of Portland Water District will begin at 5:45 p.m., followed by a barbecue dinner at 6:15 p.m.
The cost of the event with dinner is $30 or $10 without dinner. To register, visit loonecholandtrust.org/annualmeeting.
People can also register by mailing a check (memo: Annual Meeting) to 8 Depot St., STE 4 Bridgton, ME 04009. Be sure to include the full names of the individuals who are registering, an email address, and any dietary restrictions.
The event will be held outdoors, and a rain date is set for Sept. 14 should the weather not cooperate. Land trust members ask participants not vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear a mask.
In the event of cancellation, all registration fees will be refunded, or people can choose to donate their registration fee.
Loon Echo Land Trust is a donor-supported, nonprofit land trust that works to protect the land and natural resources of the northern Sebago Lake region for future generations.
