GREENWOOD — The Greenwood Board of Selectman discussed the benefits to a remote participating policy at a public hearing Aug. 3. If the public needs to wear masks again, they thought it would be best to have Zoom remain as an option so everyone can still attend while feeling comfortable. They closed the public hearing by signing the copies of approval.
Ken Cole, Greenwood fire chief, invited the Bureau of Labor Standards to review the firetrucks for commercial inspection. This ensures the firetrucks in Greenwood are running safe and up to the highest safety measures in place. The bills will be significant, as they are having multiple things updated on the firetrucks.
There are more repairs to be done on bridges. Come early next spring, they will look underneath the bridges and inspect and repaint
