WEST PARIS — The West Paris School Explorers Group will go to a Bruins/Rangers hockey game Saturday, March 26, at TD Bank Garden in Boston. The group will leave school at 8:30 a.m. by limousine.
Sunday sermon
PARIS — “What’s In A Name?” will be Silver Moore-Leamon’s sermon topic at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, Sunday, March 27. The service will begin at 10 a.m. The music will be directed by Forest Perkins and the Sunday school will be led by Renee Wales. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Physician to speak
NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital will host Dr. Robert Kahn, Western Maine Surgery, speaking about “Colon Cancer Screening: Which Test is Best ” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in the Harper Conference Center, Ripley Medical Building.

School open house
OXFORD — Ganderia Middle School will host an open house at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the school, 301 Webber Brook Road.
The school was formed in 2006 to provide an affordable middle school experience for families of the Oxford Hills and surrounding communities.
In September 2009 a sixth-grade was added to the seventh- and eighth-grades.

Food pantry site
BETHEL — The District Exchange Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Telstar High School library. Discussions will continue on possible sites for the food pantry and exchange, which provides clothing and other items for people in need.
The District Exchange has been located in the basement of the former Ethel Bisbee School for nearly 20 years. However, because the SAD 44 central office is moving from the school, the building will be mothballed.
