DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Congregational Church will hold their monthly Coffee House from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, in the annex on High Street. The cost is $5. Children under 12 are free. Refreshments will be on sale.

This month’s entertainment will be Barry Woods, an entertainer who has played for 60 years, both locally and around the country. This traditional country and gospel vocalist, entertainer and instrumentalist has won many awards throughout the years including 65 awards from the Down East Country Music Association, The Maine Country Music Association and the North American Country Music Association International in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He received the prestigious “Little” Jimmy Dempsey award for outstanding instrumentalist for his first competition in Tennessee. Along with these awards and five albums are many other awards. His music is a mix of old pop classics, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s soft rock and country.
