AUBURN — The Androscoggin Retired Educators group plans to meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Sixth Street Congregational Church, 109 Sixth St.

The speaker for this meeting is humorous Mark Turcotte. Lunch will be served by the church; the cost is $12.

The organization invites all educators: teachers, teacher assistants, secretaries, guidance counselors, and anyone who has worked with children. One need not have worked in Androscoggin County or even in Maine.

AREA meets five times per year: September, October, November, March and April. Dues cost $10 per year for educators, and $6 for non-educator spouse or a partner.
