Oxford County Soil & Water Conservation District plans to help facilitate Oxford County Fair’s Education Day on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Area youth are invited to attend, including schools, homeschools, preschools and daycares. The day is targeted at children in grades K-6, and activities will take place throughout the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Youth and their chaperones will be admitted free until 1:30 p.m.

Educational stations will be set up, as well as fair favorites like the museum, animals, and the mineral building.

Other fair events taking place on Education Day include the cattle pull at 9:30 a.m., a 4-H horse show at 10 a.m., oxen demonstrations at 10 a.m. and the Flying High Dog Show at 11:30 a.m.
