LEWISTON – Louise Constance (Bonneau) Malier, 75, of Lewiston passed away on Monday Aug. 14, 2023, at Marshwood Center.
She was welcomed into the world on July 20, 1948, by her loving parents Armand and Georgette Bonneau. Louise lived in Lewiston her entire life, attending Holy Cross and St. Dominics catholic schools, then moved on to college and was a graduate of both Westbrook Junior College, and Salve Regina in Rhode Island where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
A hard working, single mom of two, Louise had a robust career that spanned several industries including administration, marketing and customer service. Some of her most notable positions were held at White Rock Distilleries and TD Bank which encompassed decades of her professional career and saw her through to retirement over 13 years ago.
Louise always strived to live life to its fullest and took pleasure in several hobbies including reading, baking and knitting. She was also an avid hockey fan and enjoyed watching Boston Bruins games, keeping track of scores and league standing, and cheering on her favorite team. She relished time with her family and friends and was a big believer in quality over quantity when it came to her social circle.
Louise is survived by her brother and best friend, Robert Bonneau of Lewiston; her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Heather Pedersen of Lewiston, and her daughter, Katharine Howe of Portland.
Per Louise’s final wishes, a private memorial with family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
