THUMBS WAY UP to Craig Sargent and the dozens of folks and businesses that joined forces to renovate homes on Oquossoc Ave. on Just One Day.

I’d like to share these words Rev. Tony MacNaughton spoke on the onset of the worthwhile day to the group of volunteers on the morning of July 19th.

“Craig just asked me to come and really just thank you for all you’re doing. This is church. Whatever your faith is. Its people gathered doing good and you have got a reputation in town for doing good.  So, I want to thank you and Craig asked me just to ask a blessing.

Oh Lord God, we thank you for this day and for finally, parting the rain for us for a little while. We thank you for all of these volunteers. Thank you for Craig and his family foundation that make these things happen. So we ask you to keep everybody safe. Give everybody tasks to do and may those who receive the rewards of their homes, we ask you, Lord, to bless them. So look upon all of us today with your presence and we pray in your name. Amen”.
