It is my earnest hope that Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline will be elected to a second term in November.
He has diligently worked on the issues facing our city: protection of Lake Auburn, affordable housing, attracting business opportunities to the city, homelessness, and issues for our young people, such as the use of Franklin Pasture.
Very dedicated to his ceremonial duties, he has been present at the Memorial Day and July 4th gatherings at Veterans Park, the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War’s ending, and the many events associated with the summer art walks and cultural affairs. He frequently visits the business establishments of the city.
His actions have demonstrated a deep commitment to and a love of the city of Lewiston. Sheline shines.
