Richard Franklin Kennagh

SOUTH PARIS – Richard Franklin Kennagh, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 11, 2023, with his loving family by his side after a long battle with kidney disease.

Richard was born Nov. 8, 1940, a son to Kenneth and Frances Kennagh. He was as hardworking as they made them. Sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, was his 9 – 5. He worked alongside his father prior to starting his own successful excavation business.

Richard was well known for buying and selling cars, property, antiques, and heavy machinery. He was always conducting business and making deals. Richard was a long-time member of the Paris Masonic Lodge #94.

He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine Kennagh and his parents, Kenneth and Frances Kennagh. He is survived by his daughter Debora Kennagh, granddaughter Jessica Kennagh, great-grandson August Correia, brother Wayne Kennagh and wife, Joyce Kennagh.
