POLAND — The Select Board learned Tuesday that Nonesuch River Brewery of Scarborough is in the process of purchasing Cyndi’s Dockside Restaurant and Marina on Route 26 next to Middle Range Pond.

According to representatives from Nonesuch, the sale will be finalized at the end of August or by September.

Nonesuch Brewery also operates a restaurant in Scarborough.

The board approved the Class A liquor license for the establishment, which will be named Nonesuch Dockside.

In other business, Town Manager Matt Garside said the town will not have to match 20% of the federal Environmental Protection Agency grant of $598,000 that was awarded to improve the capability and capacity of waste at the town’s transfer station. He said the EPA reviewed the application and informed him the matching amount of $149,500 will not be required.

He also told the board that he was appointed to the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport board of directors.
