Addy and Lucas McFarlin of Waterford Volunteer at Waterford Breakfasts this Summer.

WATERFORD — The 4th and final Waterford Summer Breakfast of 2023 is on Wednesday, August 16, from 7:30 – 10 a.m. Over 600 diners and volunteers have been served breakfast at the Wilkins Community House in Waterford so far this summer.  The Wilkins Community House is on Plummer Hill in the Flat of Waterford, adjacent to the Congregational Church.

The breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, muffins, donut holes, juice, coffee, tea, and real Maine maple syrup. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children five years old and younger.

The Waterford Library Book Sale will continue in the Wilkins House basement during this breakfast.

Volunteers are always welcome. This year Addy and Lucas McFarlin volunteered for the first time along with their mother Vanessa, all of Waterford. To inquire about volunteering for this upcoming breakfast or for next year, contact Brenda Hambleton at blhambleton@gmail.com.

Proceeds from the breakfast help with the upkeep of the Wilkins Community House.
