COUNTY — The Oxford County Democrats are going to have our annual fundraising BBQ on Sunday at noon, August 13. It will be held in Hanover. We are serving typical BBQ fare of hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, sausages, corn on the cob, chips, and desserts. Celia Canavan, President of Maine Young Democrats will be speaking as well as Carly Baker, a recent Mountain Valley High School graduate and student activist.

David Costello, candidate for US Senate will make a guest appearance. More details on surprise guest speakers and the specific address are available at registration at www.Mainedems.org and look for the events tab.

More importantly, we will have ‘thinking of you’ cards available for attendees to sign so we can send them to the residents of Maine Veterans Home in Paris. It will be our privilege to thank them for their service and give them a warm connection.
