Community members who have been ghosted by a lawn display, are invited to donate $25 to have the display removed, or donate $50 to have it moved to the yard of a friend, neighbor or alumni.
Lucas Goldrup, left, and Evan Madigan secure the hook holding the Red Eddie’s ghost Monday, while Cash Thoman and James Robison, right, hold signs and a ghost cutout in front of Small’s Plantcare at 726 Summer St. in Auburn. The incoming freshmen are raising money to bring back the Edward Little High School freshman football team because “football is life,” Goldrup says. Community members who have been ghosted are invited to make a $25 donation to have the display removed or a $50 donation to have it moved to the yard of a friend, neighbor, alumnus or alumna. Thirty-two freshmen have signed up to play, but will not be able unless $5,500 is raised for the program. Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
