ANSWER: This is such a beautiful spot in our readership area. I hope many Sun Spotters will attend to support the church and just enjoy the area. You may want to make a day of it and take the time to stop in at Nezinscot Farm at 284 Turner Center Road, one of my favorite places.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: We own a large, older home in Lewiston. At the end of last winter, we found pieces of shingles all over. We called the largest roofer in the area who inspected the roof and told us the shingles needed to be replaced. However, they were booked for the season and suggested we call Above & Beyond Roofing.

We were very pleased with the price, service and the attitude. The crew was polite, hardworking and did 100% cleanup when done. My contact, Dylon, was honest and of great help to us.

I want to add that if you have a product failure, be sure to check for class action lawsuits against the manufacturer. In our case, the shingle maker agreed to pay qualified purchasers the cost of the shingles and, in some cases, the installation cost is also covered. — No name, Lewiston

ANSWER: Thank you for the glowing recommendation and the heads-up on the class action lawsuit. This is all good information to tuck into the Rolodex. I appreciate readers taking time to write when help is needed. And, of course, I love all your words of wisdom and your questions, too.
