Shakira Shakira! She is not a Grammy award-winning singer, but she very well could be an award-winning cutie. She is about four years old and came to us back in October after her owners surrendered her to us. She is shy at the shelter and likes the safety of her hideaway bed. It will most likely take some time for her to get used to you and your home but we have no doubt she will be the sweetest girl once she is comfortable. Shy cats are often overlooked in the shelter but it’s so rewarding to watch them come out of their shells and blossom with patience, time, and a feeling of being safe. We have not tested her with cats but we think she will be just fine. Meet Shakira during our open hours or by appointment on other days. Fill out our application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/cats to get preapproved.
