El Malo SYSTEM

El Malo, a talented 8-piece instrumental Salsacore band out of Portland, will perform in the Poland Spring Preservation Sunset Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31, at the gazebo at the Poland Spring Inn in Poland.

The band plays a wide variety of Latin-influenced jazz mixed with elements of funk, punk, prog and dance music.

Admission is $5 per person. The gate opens at 6 p.m. Chairs are available or bring your own or a picnic blanket. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Poland Spring Inn. The Poland Spring Inn is located at 640 Maine St., Poland. Complimentary water is provided by the Poland Spring Bottling Company.

The series serves as a fundraiser to support the group’s mission to preserve and restore two historic buildings: the All Souls Chapel and Maine State Building. Take a moment to speak to a volunteer, or one of our staff, if you are interested in learning more about the buildings, the history of Poland Spring, or how to become a member or volunteer.
