Auburn’s mayor, council, and city staff are working toward solutions that benefit the citizens of Auburn.

Having lived here with my family for 20 years and volunteering in various areas over many of those years, it is encouraging to watch these leaders work with residents to get things done in a way that is positive and proactive, with real results to show for it.

It has been refreshing to watch recent improvements ranging from parks, playgrounds, and recreational opportunities, much needed new housing and retail options, as well getting the high school project successfully over the finish line.

Through thoughtful reflection on the issues that matter most to residents and a willingness to compromise to accomplish common goals, Auburn is in a better place and I hope that we’ll maintain this direction.
