The Oxford Hills Bridge Club sponsored The Longest Day bridge tournament in June to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association in Scarborough.
Community members donated the lunch of sandwiches from four different stores, and donations also came from many local businesses, according to a news release from Patricia Quinn with the bridge club.
The event brought in close to $7,000 for the association in Scarborough.
