OXFORD — On Thursday, June 8, officers from the Oxford Police Department responded to an address in East Oxford for a report of a male in his vehicle passed out, according to Police Chief Rickie Jack. Upon arrival, officers identified the male as Nathan Merill, 37, and located a quantity of Fentanyl on his person.
During the subsequent investigation, Oxford PD located and identified Kelly Jenkins, 31, at the residence, who was currently out on bail stemming from an arrest made by Oxford PD for Aggravated Trafficking in Fentanyl, Jack said.
A subsequent bail search was conducted on Jenkins, and another quantity of Fentanyl was located, despite her having bail conditions not to possess the drugs. Both subjects were transported to the Oxford County Jail without incident.
