Farmington-based Regional School Unit 9 School Nutrition Program is providing free summer meals for children. Boxed lunches will be served and a breakfast for the next morning will be available. Parents/Guardians can pick up meals for children.
The following sites have been established to provide free meals for children this summer:
Wilton Mobile Meal Route
Monday-Friday, June 26-Aug. 4 (no meal service July 3 and 4):
• 11-11:15 a.m. Bishop Park, 1318 Main St., East Wilton;
• 11:25-11:40 a.m. Bass Park (head of Wilson Lake), 1 Lake Road, Wilton;
• 11:45 a.m.-noon Kineowatha Park, 90 High St., Wilton; and
• 12:05-12:15 p.m. Franklin Savings, 603 Main St., Farmington.
Farmington/New Sharon Mobile Meal Route
Monday-Friday, June 26-Aug. 4 (no meal service July 3 and 4)
• 11-11:10 a.m. Hippach Field, 300 Main St., Farmington;
• 11:15-11:25 a.m. Ron’s Market, 144 Franklin Ave., Farmington;
• 11:25-11:35 a.m. Corner of Cascade Leisure Park and High Street, 374 High St., Farmington;
• 11:40-11:50 a.m. Church of Christ, 1 Croswell Road, Farmington Falls; and
• Noon-12:10 a.m. Sandy River Farm Supply (behind store), 20 Farmington Falls Road, New Sharon.
W.G. Mallett School, 116 Middle St., Farmington, and Mt. Blue High School, 129 Seamon Road, Farmington, Summer School
Monday-Thursday, July 5-27 (no meal service July 20)
• Breakfast 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
